The next regular Municipal General Election will take place on October 18, 2021. 

Election Day Voting Station

Voting stations will be located at the Communiplex at 700 – 2 Avenue from 10:00a.m. – 8:00p.m. on October 18th.

Advance Voting Stations

Advance voting stations for the October 18, 2021 municipal election will take place as follows:

Communiplex Meeting Rooms, 700 – 2 Avenue Wednesday, October 13, 2021 10:00a.m. – 6:00p.m.
Communiplex Meeting Rooms, 700 – 2 Avenue Saturday, October 16, 2021 10:00a.m. – 6:00p.m.

Institutional Voting Stations

Institutional voting stations will be available for residents only at the following locations:

Battle River Lodge, 429 – 5 Avenue Monday, October 18, 2021 8:30a.m. – 11:30a.m.
Points West Living, 2710 – 11 Avenue Monday, October 18, 2021 12:30p.m. – 3:30p.m.

Voter Eligibility

To be eligible to vote, an elector must be:

  • 18 years old;
  • A Canadian Citizen;
  • A resident in Alberta; and
  • The elector’s place of residence must be located in the local jurisdiction on election day (Section 47 of the Local Authorities Election Act)
